PlotLuck explained.

PlotLuck is a Live Action Role-Playing game. (LARP) The PlotLuck system was first developed in 1986 by Anne C. Moore. The past 13 years have seen about 15 different games written for use in the PlotLuck system.

PlotLuck could be described as a minimalist theatre style game system. It emphasizes character interaction and plot over action and combat. Costuming and actual props are avoided to allow games to be more accessable to people with disabilities and to make the games easier to afford. Most in-game items are represented by index cards. When combat does occur it is resolved using the character's abilities rather than the player's actions and abilites (although, the player does have to make some decisions while in combat). The combat system is simple to use and yet fairly 'true to life'.

Most of all, PlotLuck is FUN! We've been running games for 13 years now using this system and we always seem to hear that the players had fun. We hope you'll give it a try.
